Le Sirannon, dalla Turchia!1) Ciao e benvenute! Presentatevi!
Wesretkau ha fondato il nostro gruppo, Sirannon, a Izmir nel 2005. Wesretkau ha cercato di trovare i membri della band, che potessero formare una line up stabile e abbiamo iniziato a comporre tra il 2005 e il 2007. Abbiamo registrato il nostro primo demo chiamato "Annon Morin " nel 2007, ma poi abbiamo deciso di non rilasciare questa registrazione. E successivamente, abbiamo iniziato a preparare il nostro album di debutto, "Semper Caliga", che contiene intro + outro e 11 canzoni. Poi abbiamo firmato un contratto discografico con Unmerciful Death Productions (USA) e l'album è stato distribuito in Russia, Estonia, Svezia, Francia, Grecia, Stati Uniti, Messico, Barbados, Colombia ecc. è possibile acquistare ancora l'album attraverso i principali e-shop come ebay.com e amazon.com.

Molte fanzine, radio, webzine e fanzine ci hanno recensito e intervistato. Inoltre, le nostre canzoni sono state incluse in diverse CD compilation. Abbiamo un sacco di fan in tutto il mondo, soprattutto in Sud America.
Abbiamo deciso di suonare con session-guitarist dopo che 'Haec' ha lasciato la band, avendo dovuto trasferirsi in USA per la post-laurea. Abbiamo completato il nostro nuovo EP "Forgotten Laments of the Forsaken" che contiene 6 canzoni. Il mastering è stato fatto negli studi Unmerciful Death Productions negli Stati Uniti e sarà presto disponibile.
2) Sirannon: qual è il significato del vostro monicker? Voi siete una band tutta al femminile, forse la prima band tutta al femminile, nella musica estrema , sono state le Astarte... in Italia abbiamo due famose cantanti estreme: Cadaveria e Sonya Scarlet da Theatres des Vampires...
Wesretkau è l'altro nome di Hatshepsut (la prima donna faraone d'Egitto).Significa "Il Potere degli Spiriti di Ra"
Lygbereth significa " La Regina Serpente" in Lingua Elfica.
Leinth è la Dea della mitologia etrusca, la Dea della morte, il cui nome significa "Colei che Arresta". Nelle raffigurazioni artistiche, è stata ritratta con il volto velato.
Le Astarte non sono state la prima band tutta femminile nella musica estrema... Ebonsight è stata la prima band tutta femminile nella musica estrema. Si sono formate nel 1991 e sono turche
Conosciamo Cadaveria & Sonya Scarlet. Entrambe sono musiciste così
talentuose! Soprattutto Cadaveria, è un'importante musicista di sesso
femminile nell'ambito dello scream vocal femminile.3) Suonate un metal molto oscuro e primitivo... Potete descriverci il vostro stile musicale?
Il nostro vecchio genere era puro Black Metal, ma il nostro nuovo genere è molto diverso rispetto ai nostri primi passi musicali... ora suoniamo un Metal più melodico e tecnico, con elementi pagan ed epic. Preferiamo dire "Epic Pagan Metal".
4) E i vostri testi? Che tematiche trattate?
Wesretkau scrive i nostri testi. C'è un concept nel nostro nuovo EP "Forgotten Laments of The Forsaken". Si tratta della vendetta di una guerriera fantasy.
5) Avete già suonare dal vivo, nel vostro paese ? E negli altri paesi?
Abbiamo suonato per 3 volte nel nostro paese, fino ad ora. Ma non abbiamo fatto molto di più a causa di problemi di salute dei nostri due membri (batterista e cantante) e inoltre vi è una generale carenza di organizzazione in ambito musicale. Inoltre, non abbiamo ancora trovato una nuova chitarrista, dopo il nostro ex membro 'Haec'. A causa di tutti questi motivi, non siamo ancora riuscite ad organizzare altri live. Non abbiamo ancora suonato in altri paesi. Ma abbiamo voglia di organizzare qualcosa, e abbiamo già un piano in mente, dopo che avremo rilascio il nostro E.P.
6) Prossimi obiettivi ?
La nostra batterista si sposterà in Norvegia tra pochi mesi. Ma questa situazione non ci riguarda. Come al solito, noi continueremo a comporre nuove canzoni, cercando di renderle sempre migliori! Il nostro primo obiettivo è quello di suonare in altri paesi.
7) Dalla Turchia, ho ascoltato band come Ilkim Oulanem, un'altra ragazza devota al Black Metal, i Satanized (di cui è possibile vedere un videoclip su YouTube, "Infernal Torment"), gli Art Diktator (Industrial band) e i Gothic Rockers She Past Away. Potete parlarci della scena estrema in Turchia?
Ci sono molti stili di Metal e Rock in Turchia. Sembra che la nostra scena vada di meglio in meglio giorno dopo giorno, se però le band volessero svilupparsi un pochino di più. Dovrebbero essere lontane dall'ordinario, dovrebbero guardare nelle loro anime, cercando lì la guida e l'ispirazione. Poi troveranno il proprio stile personale. Possiamo sembrare schizzinose riguardo alla musica, ma possiamo anche ascoltare le bande eccezionali e di grande ispirazione negli altri generi. Complimenti a loro!
Vorremmo parlare meglio, su questo punto; ricordiamo che la maggior parte delle persone che "consumano" il Metal Estremo, ascoltandolo con preferenza maniacale, al giorno d'oggi preferiscono le tendenze popolari più che gli stili della vecchia scuola.
Tuttavia crediamo ancora nello spirito del Metal estremo. Ci impegnamo al massimo, facendo molti sforzi, e consideriamo con rispetto le persone che fanno altrettanto per la musica.
Quindi, noi sfidiamo il populismo e la degenerazione di questa scena metal. E, naturalmente, i nostri fans ci sostengono sempre su questo argomento.

1) Hello and welcome! Let's introduce yourself!
Sirannon was founded in Izmir in 2005 by Wesretkau. She tried to find proper band members, stable line-up and started composing works during 2005-2007. We recorded our first demo called "Annon Morin" in 2007. But afterwards we decided not to release this recording. And in the next step, we started to preparations of our debut album. Our first album's name is "Semper Caliga" which contains intro + outro and 11 songs. Then we signed an agreement with Unmerciful Death Productions (USA) and the album was distributed in Russia, Estonia, Sweden, France, Greece, USA, Mexico, Barbados, Colombia etc . Also album sales are still proceeding via major e-shops like ebay.com, amazon.com.
"Semper Caliga" is the first release female black metal album in Turkiye's metal history.
Many fanzines, radio stations, webzines and zines had been reviewed or interviewed with us. Plus, our songs have been inclusive of several compilation CDs. We have a lot of fans all over the world especially South America.
We have decided to play with session guitarists after our guitarist 'Haec' left from the band . Because she had to move to USA for postgraduate. 2) Sirannon: what is the meaning of your monicker? You are an all-female band; maybe the first all-female band, in the extreme music, was Astarte... in Italy we have two famous extreme singers: Cadaveria and Sonya Scarlet from Theatres des Vampires...
Wesretkau is the other name of Hatshepsut (the first woman pharaoh of Egypt). It means “Power of Ra’s Spirits”
Lygbereth means “The Serpent Queen” in Elf Language.
Leinth is the goddess of Etruscan mythology. Leinth is the goddess of death, whose name means "She Who Stops". As art, she was portrayed with the veiled face.
Astarte was not the first all female band in the extreme music. Ebonsight was the first all female band in the extreme music. They founded in 1991 and they are Turkish :D We know Cadaveria & Sonya Scarlet. Both are so talented musicians. Especially Cadaveria is a major musician for female scream vocal.
3) You play a very gloom and primitive metal... can you describe your music style?
Our old genre was Pure Black Metal but our new genre is quite different than our first genre. Our new genre is more melodic and technical. It contains paganic and epic elements. We prefer to say “Epic Pagan Metal”
4) What about your lyrics?
Wesretkau writes our lyrics. There is a concept story in our new EP “Forgotten Laments of The Forsaken” It's about revenge of a fantastic female warrior.
5) Have you already play live, in your country? And in others country?
We performed for 3 times in our country till now. But we have not much more done due to health problems of our both members (drummer and vocalist) and there is a negative fact like deficiencies of musical organizations. Also we could not find the appropriate guitarist yet after our former member ‘Haec’. Because of all these reasons we were unable to stage. We have not played in other countries yet. We have such a plan after the release of E.P.
6) Next goals?
Our drummer will move to Norway within a few months. But this situation will not affect us. We will continue to compose new and better songs as usual. Our first goal is to play in the other countries.
7) From Turkey, I have listened Ilkim Oulanem, Satanized, Art Diktator, She Past Away. Can you speak about the Turkey's Extreme scene?
There are many styles of metal and rock scene in Turkey. It seems to be better day by day if the bands would like to a little bit more develop themselves. They need to be away from the ordinary.They should look into their souls like a Guru. Then they will find their own special tunes.We are picky about the music but we can also listen to the outstanding and inspiring bands from the other genres. Congratulations to them.
We would like to mention about these points; We remember that, the most people used to consume the extreme metal like crazy. In nowadays they prefer the popular trends more than the old school styles. However we still believe in the spirit of extreme metal. We do much efforts and give as a mark of respect and people founded remarkable once doing our job.
So, we challenge against to the popularism and degeneration in this metal scene. And of course, our fans always support us about this matter.
